Event Summary

I am RAS-1 (Richard Arthur Smith) a musician (guitarist/singer) who was in the band Long Beach Shortbus with former Sublime bassist Eric Wilson and Willard "Trey" Pangborn of Falling Idols, along with drummer Damien Ramirez. I was also an original member of the Long Beach Dub Allstars along with Eric Wilson and former Sublime drummer Bud Gaugh. After Leaving Long Beach Dub Allstars from 1997- 2002, I formed the Band Long Beach Short Bus and released and EP in 2002 and a full length album Flying Ship Of Fantasy in 2004.

San Jose-based reggae band, Kruel Summer pushes away negative energy in their catchy new single, “Just Too Broken”. The single, released by Dub Rock Records, shows off the band’s sound featuring simple but powerful lyrics, strong vocals, and on point musicianship.

We’ve been following Kruel Summer for awhile now, and really appreciate the band’s sound and ability to produce solid reggae rock songs. We also recommend you check out “Little Black Dress”, and “Bad for Us”.

If you’re going through a rough week, turn on “Just Too Broken”, and push away any negative energy that comes your way.

“Just Too Broken” by Kruel Summer is the Daily Reggae Song of the Day.
