He is a talented and sought after lead guitarist and lead vocalist. He has performed with bands such as Archie Bell and the Drells, Etta James, Anita Baker, Mary Wells, Edwin Starr, Fever, En Vogue, War, Buddy Miles, Paul Anka, Peter Tosh, George Clinton, Patty LaBelle, Mother’s Finest, and many more. As a lead vocalist, Burnin Vernon has been a part of several Bay Area bands. His latest project showcases the music of Robert Cray. His musical style has been described as “from A to Z”, meaning anything from Al Green to Led Zeppelin…funk, soul, R&B, jazz, and blues.
