Lauren Halliwell & The Dirty Sound Blues are a bay area based group that plays the blues to the core. Breaking out the big hits from Etta James, T Bone Walker, and Aretha Franklin, with a modern twist of hits from Sister Sparrow, and Lake Street Dive.
Blues pianist Abi Ramirez and vocalist, Lauren Halliwell have been waiting seven years to collaborate together musically, and they have have been able to do so by bringing five amazing musicians together, after juggling a pandemic and various musical projects. All five members are accomplished, professional musicians who play with a purpose and have extensive musical careers here in the bay/ San Jose State University.
